Laflen-Cunningham Agency Ltd. is the result of a merger between the Cunningham Agency, and Smith & Laflen Insurance. Smith & Laflen originated as the Copper Agency which was purchased by Richard Smith Jr., and later by John Laflen. The Cunningham Agency was founded by Robert Cunningham. In December of 1997 the Martinie Agency was purchased and became part of Laflen-Cunningham. Laflen-Cunningham Agency Ltd. is an independent agency, representing over 20 companies.
